Well, this may sound like a typical Marc fan cliche, but this is where the whole Almond obsession started, on one of those rare occassions dad let us watch Top Of The Pops. Not sure why it appealed - aside from it being the most perfect pop record ever made - to an 11 year old boy, but I was mesmerised by Marc's performance, and on Saturday, I went with my dad to Bradleys Records in Halifax, and this became my first ever record that I not only owned, but had bought myself. And the rest, as they say, is tainted!!
